I am having a noon OR 2:30pm Escape wedding and was wondering if anyone has a good timeline that they used to give me an idea. I think it will help me decide on what time I will want to have my wedding at SBP. Thanks. :thumbsup2

I'm having a 2:30 SBP wedding. We will have dinner at 5:30 and then a DP at 8:30. To be honest, I am kind of worried about all the down time. The ceremony ends at like 3:30, so what are people going to do for 2 hours until dinner? I guess it kind of depends on where everything is located. For us, everything is right on the Boardwalk, but if you are doing stuff away from the Boardwalk, then you can factor traveling time into things.

The only reason I am thinking our 2:30 is a bad idea is because it will be in June, and that is probably the absolutely worst part of the day to be outside. But if you are having a December wedding, I would definitely pick the 2:30 slot to eliminate the "standing around" time.

I have a 2:30 wedding at SBP. My BEO has this as the tiemline. And then I cooridnated with Misty.

1:30pm pick up groom and guests
2:00pm pick up bride and guests
2:30pm ceremenoy.

We figured the ceremony and cake cutting will last about 1 hour. Afterwards, we let our guests know that bride and groom will have solo pics done around the Boardwalk with Misty, and they have about 1 hour to enjoy the boardwalk.

Then the limo will pick us up at 4:30 and 5 and bring us to dinner in time for our 5:30 ressie.

We our having our guests get to the Grand Floridian at 12:30 so we have about 1 hour to do all the formal shots with family etc beforehand, and misty is staging the first look shot.

12pm Wedding (SBP)
1pm Pre-Reception (Boardwalk Ballroom)
2pm - 6pm Reception
8:30pm - 9:30pm Dessert Party UK Upper

I am definitely looking forward to those two hours between the reception and dessert party. Nap time!! :thumbsup2
