DF and I are trying to set our budget for our wedding, I can do my own hair and makeup for the wedding( I have been practicing constantly), but I would love to not have that stress on my big day. I was wondering if anyone had any references for someone to come to the hotel on the day of and do my hair and makeup( I also have 2 bridesmaids and my mother). Also if anyone had any price ranges for something like this that would be wonderful.

We used Beaute Speciale - they were amazing.

short hair = $50 each
long hair = 65 each
makeup = $50 each
Lashes = $10

I am using Crystal Walters, http://www.weddingsbycrystal.com/

I haven't come across her name on the boards but she was in the paperwork from Disney and I believe on The Knot. I have a trial with her in July so I can't yet say how her work is, but she's been very nice when I've talked to her and she said she is working constantly. Her prices were reasonable compared to some of the others. You can find them on her website.

Third for Beaute Speciale! Just used them twice- once for wedding and once for MK photos, and they were amazing each time! I had airbrush makeup ($75), and my hair done ($65), and they added in a fee of $50 because our appointments were before 6am.

Side note, the webpage now lists long hair as $75, but my hair is very long qand they only charged my $65.

I also vote for Beaute Speciale and Laine. She did my hair trial and engagement pics hair and makeup. I was very happy with it. She was very sweet and friendly as well. :goodvibes:goodvibes

I used Patricia Lejeune. She charged $60 for hair and $60 for makeup.

I just wanted to add that I am doing my own hair and make-up, and I think it is worth the savings. Honestly, I would be just as stressed about someone else doing it because IDK how it is going to turn out. At least by me doing it myself, I know how it is going to look. Unless you have time/money for a trial, I think it might be worth reconsidering doing it yourself.

^ Honestly, I think you have the best idea. It is an awful lot of money, which I wasn't willing to spend.- my sister actually paid for both as a surprise gift. She knew how important pictures were to me, and that I was worried about screwing it up since I never wear makeup and my hair is always in a ponytail (I work in a zoo and the animals don't care what I look like, haha)

I used Patricia LeJuene and she was the best!! You can read my detailed review in my TR. She went above and beyond for me on my vow renewal day! My mom, sister, and grandmother used Beaute Speciale. They did a good job too but I preferred Patricia!:thumbsup2

Another shout out for Patricia!!! It is a hard job to make me beautiful, but she achieved it (so I am told!!). She is such fun to work with too. Detailed review in my PJ/TR (link in my signature). Good luck whatever you decide!!

This information is really helpful! Our ceremony is at 10am and at the Wedding Pavilion so I was considering getting all our hair and makeup done at the GF Spa but I'm not sure now because of pricing. If I could get someone to come to the room that would be great. :)
