Wedding Cert Question - UK Brides

Hello everyone!

We have just returned to the UK from our October Wedding at WP! Had a fantastic wonderful time, really sad to be home - however I do have one more question...

We recieved our Wedding Cert in the post and I've noticed that the section that says 'Witness to the ceremony' hasn't got anything in it - should I get some people who were there to sign this or is it alright not to be filled in?

It looks like its a 'true copy of the original document recorded in public records' - will this be accepted by services e.g DVLA Banks etc?

Thanks so much for your help, I'm hoping this will be my final wedding related freak out!

Is that section 24 & 25? Our Mum's signed it on our wedding day. It seems a bit odd that yours is blank.

I had no problem using it to change my name etc.

The state of Florida does not require witnesses to sign the marriage license for it to be valid, so that's why it's blank. I'd leave it that way.

Thank to both of you so much, I was beginning to worry!! (altho a small part of me was thinking that if it wasn't valid it would give us an excuse to do it all again!!)
