Wedding & Bridesmaid Dresses In Florida?

I am considering getting my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses in Florida in December (we get married at wdw in jan 08)

Does anybody know of any shops in florida that do these dresses? and if they have web sites?

i would love to help but, i cant see the pictures although there is a davids bridal and angelique bridal in winter haven they are very nice there.

I didn't use the David's Bridal there in Florida but I used one close to where I live here in PA and loved it there. They had a great selection and the woman who helped me was fantastic. The dress I got was gorgeous and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend David's Bridal.

I am using The Collection in Winter Park (about fifteen minutes away from WDW). They have their gowns on display in Franks and came highly recommended by friends who have used them in the past. I have two gowns- one I got from them and another from Davids Bridal and the alterations were much more expensice at Davids (shocked how they added up).

Are you planning on buying off the rail? I can see you will only have a few weeks before your wedding. Don't the dresses have to be ordered the same as here?
You can order from a US site and get it shipped here to the UK and save hundreds of pounds.

I have been looking at davids bridal for my BM dresses as they are so nice and I cant find what I want over here.
I was worried about getting it from the us incase it does not fit or i dont like it once I have them

That's a risk you take, I bought a dress from the US about 2 years before my wedding (yes I know I was really impatient) it was a Mori lee dress and I paid nearly £300 for it and in the bridal shop over here it was £900. The dress was stunning but really small in size so I sold it on ebay for £650. If you pick a dress by a US designer it's well worth the saving.

yes I have noticed that my wedding dress is maggie sottero (sahara is its name) and I found it on a website for about £600 here is £1200! But they wont ship a maggie sottero out of the us cos apparently she has but something in place to stop shops shipping to the uk. I also found it on ebay but was a bit worried about doing that.

Just looking at BM dresses on davids bridal now as they are so nice and you can do the seperates, I dont mind doing it for them but my dress I'm really worried about

I know there are a few places online that will ship to the UK. Ask on this forum and then drop the places an email, it can't hurt. The saving is mega.

I am not sure what exact style you are looking for but there is a brides by Demetrios salon in Altamonte Springs which is about 45 mins away from Disney. They have one of the largest dress collections that I have seen. I am going there in Feb since the dress I want can only be found there. I think its fate that I am going to get married in Fla so of course I have to get my dress there too!
