Which (if any) of these make an anniversary dinner extra special?
Doesn't have to be terribly romantic or anything (we will be there with 3 young kids :hyper: ) just maybe something extra like they do for birthdays or something I can order?

Chef Mickey
Alfredos
Boma
1900 Park PF
Crystal Palace
Chefs de France
Kona
Garden Grill (to bad they stopped the rehitching, that would have been fun)
Le Cellier

We did our Anniversary last year at Artist point and they had a menu printed withour names on it and gave us a dessert.

To be perfectly honest with you I would NOT suggest any of those restaurants for a nice, romantic, anniversary dinner. I am planning an anniversary dinner at Victoria and Albert's. That seems to be the #1 choice here. If that does not fit in your budget (it is a $100 pp pre fixe menu) then I would suggest something like the CA Grill. I would not however, go there early. There are plenty of children and the service is a bit rushed. Other than that maybe something like Bistro de paris (much more romantic/quiet than chefs de france), Tchop Tchop (universal), or Bluezoo (dolphin) which are both off Disney property.

I'm sorry I did not see that you had 3 young children with you. That being said, I would definatley recomend CA Grill or Tchop Tchop. Both of which seem to accomodate children and Adults very well.

When making ADR's/comfirming them and when checking in tell them you are celebrating a wedding annv. I have gotten pixie dust and streamers on our table, seraded by dapper Dan's, a cake ordered by DH delivered to resturant. Also i've never gotten but have seen cards signed by all charcters at that meal, free desserts, just general congrats.

If you are able to go off property, I would definitely recommend Tchoup Chop (Royal Pacific Hotel at Universal), Emeril's (Universal City Walk - a bit more expensive) or if you want to know what California Grill was like at its best, try Seasons 52 (where the open Chef and GM from CA Grill went when they left and started its steady decline).

On property, I like Jiko. I have always had great service and great food there.

I would stay away from California Grill based on serious decline in food quality and service.

We are going to do lunch at the Rose & Crown for our 21st anniversary. Yes, we will have our kids with us - but they are a bit older than yours.

We chose Rose & Crown for the performace of the British Invasion after lunch in the garden of United Kingdom. We like the Beatles (now you know our age :rotfl: ), so I thought Rose and Crown would be nice.

I have always had excellent experiences at the California Grill. It used to get overcrowded at the bar around time for the fireworks, but the new check-in procedure seemed to clear that up. The view is amazing and it is a nice place to watch wishes.

:confused3 :confused3 were trying to figure the same thing out but with dd12, were thing 1900 Park Faire or Cinderella Royal table-never have been to either place........
Happy Anniversary!

I picked Chef Mickey's for our next Anniversary. I will be ordering us a cake. No kids. I have abundant romance in my life every day. I wanted fun and Characters for our first ever celebration of our Anniversary at WDW.

I agree with MickeyFan on this one.

This is the first anniversary that we will be celebrating at Disney. We can always go to a nice quiet restaurant near home. At Disney, I want to celebrate with Mickey!

We are going to dinner at Alfredos the night of our anniversary, because we love the food and atmosphere even though it's loud and crowded - but breakfast that morning is at Chef Mickey's!

Happy Anniversary!

dining at Blue Zoo in the Dolphin?

It looks like you'll be at the Beach Club so it is close by.

From what I read, you can get 2 hours of free care for the kids at Camp Dolphin when you dine there. You need to show to let them know where your kids are when you dine & somehow its taken care of from there. The regular cost is $10 per child/per hour.

We'll be doing this on our anniversary night in August (Happy Anniversary to you too!).

Not sure if there is a limit on kids covered (I see 3 in your photo), but it certainly would make it more romantic!

Hi Mommykds -

We celebrated an anniversary at Disney, I made ressies and mentioned it - but only at LeCellier did they 'fuss' over us (this was before my Dis days btw!!) When we checked in they asked me if we were celebrating anything, I mentioned our 24th anniversary - then they sat us down, our server came and explained the menu... we went for lunch... It was a hot hot day... to sit in LeCellier was such a pleasant respite from the heat - we had bought DD an Epcot Passport, and I carry a few "mommy" things to entertain her - they brought her a smoothie - and at the end of the meal a special "mousse" the plate was decorated with "Happy Anniversary" and they gave us a card signed by the staff... such a nice touch... imho...

That being said, maybe the Dolphin and free childcare is a 'cant be missed' opportunity!!
