I am taking my wife to Disneyland in November for our 3rd wedding anniversary. I want to do something really romantic for her and make it a day/night that she will never forget.

Do you know if I am able to get any flowers delivered to DLP at all? I want to start the day off with them being delivered to her by Eeyore at a character breakfast. Ive got lunch at Walts in mind and a meal at Inventions that evening planned. I am also going to sort out a few spa treatments at the Disneyland Hotel, but I am unsure whether we need to actually stay there to be able to book them.

This is all I have thought of at the moment, but plenty of time until I have to put it all into place.

Any answers or other suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks :thumbsup2

How romantic!

I can help you with the spa question. Someone (I think it was Ruthiebabie :) ) recently confirmed that no, you don't need to be staying at the Disneyland Hotel to enjoy this. :thumbsup2

Congrats to you! We are flying across the pond to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary as well! Best of luck to you!

Congratulations on that. I've got a few ideas as to what I want to do for my other half and hopefully, it will all go to plan ;)

Have you been to DLRP before?

Hope that you have a great time out there! I really annoyed that i've got to wait 6 months before I go again :sad2:

I am planning on making it a trip that my wife will never forget! We missed our honeymoon because I had to go on Operations with the Army 2 days after we got married, so I am hoping to make up for that in November :)

we never had a honeymoon-we just couldn't afford it (we married in 2001) then my husband on a whim dragged me into a travel agents in 2005 and booked a coach trip to Disneyland Paris - i hadn't been since 1997 and he knew how much i wanted to go back........... well if it took 4 years to have a honeymoon it was more than worth the wait that 2 day trip to DLP was the most magical and romantic experience in itself ever! He hadn't been before and it had been years for me, we spent two days running round holding hands, enjoying every second of it and acting like 5 year olds. It was magic!!!

we have been going back every year since and have three trips booked there for this year :rotfl:

We are doing Paris too as part of our anniverdisney trip but we have also booked a meal in Walts! The possibilities there are endless aren't they.

there was a thread on here once where someone suggested they propose to their girlfriend at the top of the second waterfall on POTC, that way as you go down the waterfall their would be a photo taken and that photo would be of the split second after said partner has been presented with "a ring" (thus that photo would always be special) and then go for a meal in Blue Lagoon afterwards. Well we already have gone way past the engagement bit but i do keep hinting to hubby about an eternity ring.....maybe one with little diamind set mickey ears on...I know you can get them :lmao:

I am sure whatever you arrange just being there with each other will be special in itself!

Awwww wow, thats a lovely idea,my bf has mentioned that it would be good to propose on a ride- i didnt really see how it would work :rotfl: altho i think he was thinking more RnR than POTC:rotfl:

Yep it was me that confirmed it - we were all staying at Sequoia Lodge and my friend and her mum went for pedicure and massage respectively. One thing they did try to do was get the concierge to book in advance for them but they never got a call back so they just wandered into the hotel and to the spa and booked there and then.

Anyone have experience with the Newport Bay Club? We picked it because of its ammenities. For our Anniversary should we consider somewhere else? For we Americans the exchange rate right now is less than enticing.

I've got no personal experience of the Newport Bay Club, but everyone that I know who has been, has loved it. The theming is fantastic apparantly and the service is excellent.

If you go onto google, you can find a number of reviews for it on there.

Hope that helps a bit :)
