Wedding 2nd time around

After many years, we are talking wedding. He wants a Disney wedding but due to retirement income we cannot afford the traditional magic. All we need is a clergyman and witnesses. He wants to tie the knot in front of the castle, but there is no way we could ever budget that. Any ideas? Has anyone ever had a similar situation?

Let's see - have you checked out Swan & Dolphin weddings? Apparently they are a lot cheaper, and you can have some of the same touches that you would at a Disney Fairytale Wedding. If you have military connections, you could get married at Shades of Green for cheaper too. Or you could get married someplace like Leu Gardens and then go to dinner at one of the WDW resorts!

2cutequilter, the others have already given you excellent advice in regards to the Swan/Dolphin, Shades of Green, and Leu Gardens. I hope something can be worked out for your budget. But if it can't, then consider getting married at home and honeymooning in WDW. That would be fun. And don't forget that a few years down the road (or whenever the whim may strike you), you can always have a Fairy Tale Weddings vow renewal. They're just as much fun (if not more!) as a Fairy Tale Weddings wedding.

If he wants to get married close to the castle, have you looked into an escape wedding at Sunset Point? It is at the Polynesian resort and you can see the castle from where you say your vows.
