ONE LAST DAY OF MK!
I woke up with a desperate
last day, last day, last day feeling. I packed that feeling away and worked all day to keep it tucked away. This was our last day and we were going to suck every bit of fun we could out of it!
Elsa and I were excited to get Michael up and rush him over to the comissary so he could do the Twist! He was disappointed to miss it our first morning at POP and we really hadn't talked about it since then. He couldn't figure out why we were rushing or why we were so excited. We walked in right at 8 and they were calling all Twisters! Michael was all for it and off we went to join all the other crazy people dancing in the breakfast area!
After getting our groove on we split up to order our food at three different windows. When we met back up at our table we were tickled to see we all ordered the same thing (only I finished my whole plate...and it was gooooooooooooood

):
Off to the Magic Kingdom and no need to wear our Under Armour!

We made it for the last moments of rope drop and skedaddled on over to Carousel of Progress! We were first into the attraction and the only ones so we were able to sing as loud as we wanted...and sing we did!
Michael was thrilled that Chip and Dale were out and seemingly waiting for us! He had seen them on our first MK day dressed in their space gear but the line was too long so Michael opted to skip it. We weren't sure we would see them again so this was a treat!
I've not shared this before, but to know us in our everyday lives is to know how outrageously competitive we are. I blame this on my father. Not a bad blame, but a blame all the same!

I brought a guy home in my senior year of highschool and left him in the living room with my father. When I came back in the room they were standing on opposite sides of the room, each with a sheet of loose leaf notebook paper seeing who could keep it on the wall longest with just the force of blowing on the paper. I love this about my family, and this might explain why I can't just walk by the Buzz Lightyear ride! I could ride this over and over and over and I MUST WIN!

So we rode and I lost. Boo.
Space Mountain has to be one of our most favorites. When I rode this 5 days ago I knew I had to put this on my "can't ride again" list, but it's a whole different story when you are standing outside of the ride seeing this type of excitement:
So I have to publicly admit that I rode it again. One last time. It only took till the first turn to remember why I put this on my list at the beginning of our vacation and knew it was indeed my last ride. But I did get two of my favorite pictures on this, my final Space Mountain ride...ever. *a moment of silence, please*
We took another lap around Speedway and Elsa was determined to operate the gas pedal. We laughed and giggled our way around the track as she gave it her all and just could not push that pedal, steer, and see over the dash at the same time. So I did the honors and encouraged her that by our next trip I was pretty sure she could master it all!
We participated in the Laugh Floor and as a family, we just love this attraction! It's usually just slight variations on the same 3 shows, but we laugh hard every time and Michael's new goal is to be "that guy".
