Hello... Next trip we are planning on spending 3 days at Magic kingdom... A morning on a sat, Tuesday, and wed. After looking at my plans I'm starting to think maybe Thursday would have been better (than wed) for lower crowds. However.... If I switch to a Thursday I will lose are early ADr at be our guest... And I can't get any early ADr anywhere else (as of now). So so I just leave it and hope for the best or risk not getting my early ADr. I've never gone to Magic kingdom without an early ADr. I just loved getting in early and taking pics with basically no one in the park???

When was your last visit to MK? There is never "basically no one in the park" anymore, even at 7:45am on days the park opens at 9am. CRT, CP and BOG all have pre-park opening ADR's now, so at 7:45 there is always a long line of people streaming in and rushing through the castle, preventing any solitary castle photos.

Entering MK at rope drop is as much a treat as a pre-park ADR, because the characters put on a memorable welcome show. You'll still get the benefit of short or nonexistent lines the first hour, as long as you don't start your day in Fantasyland.

The very best thing about the pre park BOG ADR was being able to hit 7DMT twice before rope drop crowds got there. But pp is absolutely correct. There is no more empty Main Street/castle times.

We've been going every year for the past few years or so... However we've been trying to go a lower crowd time... Last year we went end of January. It was so nice! I'm a little concerned about the crowds in april... But we'll make the best of it. I'll probably leave it as is... Do you know if you can get on any other rides early too... Like Peter Pan??

Wednesday vs Thursday is going to depend on the weather, which you have no control over. I didn't go to MK on wed, but the crowds on sunday, tuesday, thursday varied because of the weather. Tuesday was partly sunny and 75, Thursday was 60's and pouring rain.

Let's just put it this way: We got to do everything we wanted on the rainy day....with a poncho and very little lines. We got to do 7DMT 3 times, with less than 15 minutes wait each time and no fast pass. Which for disney standards is no wait at all

My advice would be to keep the Be our guest reservation. And hope for bad weather to scare away people, because you're going regardless.

I would leave it alone. There is no real empty Main Street anymore, so be prepared for that, and enjoy the relative quiet of the early opening. You can get some nice pictures, but not the ones you may be envisioning.

It is my opinion that BOG and then PP or mine train is a great way to begin the morning even if they do not open before park opening. I have no idea, we just head to PP because we like the SB queue.

If you go to any park early, you will accomplish a lot, no matter the crowd calendars, so I always choose based on what works best for my family. I look at the calendars to begin with, but since we tend to travel when there are Parties, and we like the evening entertainment, we know the MK is going to be crowded on the days when there is no party. We go anyway and have fun. Book your FP wisely and you will be all set.

We normally go in early June and Wednesday has always been on of our best days. Historically it is not EMH so we would do rope drop and leave for a break. This was a day that would keep the park open until 1 or 2 am. We would then schedule Thursday as a sleep in, swim, Disney Springs type of day. And like others have said with the popular restaurants opening early for ADR's the empty feel is a relative idea.
