Websites that now scrape for ADR's and sell them, oh no!!!!

Yes. In that situation, if you have you're eye on a different restaurant...wait until the new one becomes available before cancelling the original one. The idea is to stop everyone from booking ADRs frivolously with the mindset that they'll just cancel later before getting hit with a fee. They should only be made once you are certain that is where/when you want to eat. Outside of these "scalper" sites...there's too many ADRs booked "just in case" out there.

Yea, that wouldn't fly over well at all. So based on this logic, you're promoting hoarding reservations so that you have something to trade up with, you should change your mind.

Absolutely not. The complete opposite actually. You won't want to hoard. You won't want to have more than one reservation per meal because, in the end, you can only eat dinner at one restaurant each day. So let's say if you're one of those people making reservations at a restaurant in Epcot, MK, DHS, AK, and one at DTD all for the same night until you finally decide where you want to go...you're going to have to flat out cancel all but one of those and eat the fee on the rest.

Now, it's possible that maybe some people would then be holding on to ADRs they would otherwise have cancelled already until they find the new one they want. But I believe that number would be far fewer than the number of ADRs that would have previously been held up by the people who held multiple reservations for every day.

Why I really like this thread :)

There is clearly a problem for Disney. So far, at least FOUR board members who do NOT get paid a board level salary have suggested really GOOD, fairly simple to implement, solutions :). People - this is the purest form of love for a company that one can express - you don't want to see WDW get rammed in an unmentionable area :). GOOD FOR YOU :). YOU at least are thinking like REAL board members that actually WORRY about things that could negatively affect your company.

Now - as I often do? Must ask - where is the CIO of WDW (Susan O'Day - an Everly Brother's tune comes to mind)? Don't see the lady commenting, coming up with anything like a solution? Not entirely sure she still lives? Where is the CIO?

Great news, there are a couple of DVC groups I belong to on Facebook stating Disney is shutting these guys down. One even has a screen shot from one of these companies stating they are sorry for any inconveniences this has caused to their customers....smjj

Yes I just read an article saying the same thing, shutting them down.
