Website: What Song was Number One on the Billboard Charts on the Day You Were Born ?

Fantastic! mine was "The Glory of Love" by Peter Cetera of Chicago. I love the Karate Kid and I love that song!

God I'm old. Remembering how old I was when that song came out, and then seeing your wedding photo made me realize exactly how old I am!:lmao:
The wedding pic is over 6 years old...Which makes me feel old. Time flies, though, right? I'm glad I finally did this, though-I've been seeing it on facebook for weeks! Thanks for a fun post.

Mine is Auf Wiederseh'n Sweetheart by Vera Lynn. Have never heard of the song or the artist.:confused3

I didn't know Vera Lynn until about a month ago. She was in a movie I was watching on TCM. She was really pretty, but I didn't recognize her. I looked her up at the IMDB website and found out she is still living and 95. She was the singer of "We'll Meet Again," heard at the end of the Dr. Strangelove movie, when they roll the credits and show the nuclear blasts going off. The Strangelove song was from 1939, and it was a sentimental send-off song to British soldiers who were going off to war against Germany.

"Can't live....if living is without you...Can't Live....Can't give anymore."
Yikes !

For those that have seen the movie, "The Rules of Attraction", (with James "Dawson's Creek" VanderBeek (sp) ) that song is never the same for you again...

It's worth putting in your Netflix Q or however you watch movies, just remember it's R-rated for a reason.

But, I'm straying from the topic of my own thread... :rotfl:
