Does it make a difference in the deals/discounts/room prices you get if you call the hotel directly in comparison with making resies on line? I plugged in my info on the Hojo site and I don't know what I did wrong but I got kind of steep prices......:confused3

Are you looking for prices for your trip in March '09? If so, maybe that is why discounts are not working, too far in advance? (I could be totally off track though;) )

BTW... where on the coast? I am in Springfield:cool1:

Thanks Snoodles! That's probably it, I'll call in person to see what I can see.....:)

I up here Tillamook way! Didja all get snow today? We did, it is just madness!! It REALLY makes me want to be walking the sunny streets of DL.....

I'm going in 09.. but i put in dates for oct. 08 to get an idea of prices and i too found them pretty steep! I havn't called because i was gonna ask all of you guys... does hojo have suties or rooms that will fit 6 people 3 adults and 3 kids? because i don't want to have to get 2 rooms... and if anyone knows the price of a suite if they have them :) Thanx for any help you have for us:thumbsup2

I would call the HoJo and ask if it's too soon to book the Ent rate. BUT be sure you get transferred to in-house reservations and not the 800 line. Bonita, if you were to book the $59/$74 Ent rate it wouldn't be more to book 2 rooms. Bldg 2 has rooms that connect so you can just open the door and be one big room. :)

I'm in vancouver b.c and its snowing like crazy!

Haha yeah I heard Burnaby was white :rotfl: Spring and snowing... what are we gonna do hey? Its so weird seeing the cherry blossoms covered in snow.

Also Grumpy's wife, I would totally call. Its best to talk to someone so if you have more questions then you can ask, and also that person might be able to recommend something by giving you tips that are not mentioned through the website.

The grass and everything here is totally covered but its still snowing lightly... but it isn't sticking on the ground (cement) yet just the grass area.... Well once we get a bit closer i'll have to look into the ent. rate. We can get about 125 for a suite at best western ppi.... But also i was reading another tread and the hojo looks alittle far for my 69 yr old grandma and 3 & 5 yr olds to walk.... do you think it would be if any of you guys have stayed there?

We mainly have it mixed with the rain, but it sure is cold! BRR!!! This just isn't how I had pictured spring break:sad2: There has been snow in higher elevations though.
I too would LOVE to be in DL right NOW!!!;) :cool1: :goodvibes :yay:

It's just about finished snowing here in Tacoma. Wrote to my brother in San Diego and he said "sunny and 68 here, just finished washing the cars..." Harumph. :)

The other thing to do with hojo online is to look one day at a time. Especially if trying to use a code (like sd50 for the entertainment book rate, or lnap for the Annual Passport rate, etc); they will only show the rate that goes all the way through your stay. But if you could get 3/4 nights at the Ent rate, that's better than no Ent rate! :)

But calling is probably easier. Just make sure you are talking to the people there at the hotel IN Anaheim. I was shunted over to the 800 number once (called during lunchtime) and the woman LIED and said she was "in house reservations". I finally had to call her out on that by asking if she was there in Anaheim, and then the truth came out and I could hang up the phone. The 800 # people just don't have the scoop on the deals for that particular hotel.

I am thinking of getting the AP while i'm there because i figuare with 11 of us we would atleast make the $60 up in food discounts! So i will have to call some hotels and find out about the AP discounts! Do you know if i need to have the pass before i can get the discount or can i get them if i'm getting it..... would buying online before hand count?? I'm just trying to decied if we will be able to afford to go back within a year to get it for the whole family!!!

You just tell whoever you are making the reservations with that you have an AP. Just be prepared to show it when you check in.
