Having trouble loggin in to MS website. It keeps telling me I'm logged in on some other Disney account & that I have to log out there 1st. I'm not logged in anywhere else. Frustrating!!!

Any ideas how to remedy this

or

Does anyone have a list of what locations DVC has for exchange in the FL Keys?

We son's boy scout troop has decided to plan a SeaBase trip, which means I've got to start finding a place to stay in the FL Keys while he's at SeaBase.

If anyone from that computer is logged in it will not let you log in to the DVC account from what I've seen. However, after usually the second or third attempt in a row to access DVC I normally get an option to log out of the other site from there. Usually it's either the Photopass or dining system in my case.

As for location, DVC only has 2 options in the Keys, 1 in KW and the other on Marathon. given that Islamorada is only about 1/3 to 1/4 of the way to KW, I don't think either option is a good choice to be close to Sea Base. Bluegreen's Marathon resort in the other on the list and it's ROUGHLY 30 miles from what I can see. If you don't mind being that far, it's worth a shot. You may want to look at non DVC exchange options, either other timeshares or hotels. Both II and RCI have upper Key options but their not that good from what I could see. You should find someone who knows the area AND timeshares and try to pick their brain.

Sea Base on Lower Matecumbe Key is at Mile Marker 73.8. The center of Marathon is about MM 60, so it would be about 14 miles away.

If an address is shown as 88000 Overseas Highway, in Conch-speak, that's MM 88...with the mile markings being distance from the start of US 1 in Key West.

For reference from the North, the point where US 1 leaves the Keys and heads toward Miami is roughly MM 103-104. From there, it is 28 miles to Florida City on the mainland, and probably a little over 60 miles from downtown Miami.

Personally, I'd feel confident that he's going to be fine at Sea Base and probably go someplace else -- South Beach, Marco, Naples, etc -- and then make the drive down to pick him up at the end of his stay.

If his Sea Base stay is only a few days, Key West might be a good option but I wouldn't want to spend a whole week there on purpose. (It happens accidentally sometimes, but you have to be from South Florida to understand.)

If you like to fish, dive, sail, snorkle, or drink, there's a lot to do either in Key West or in the Upper or Middle Keys. Otherwise, not so much.
