There used to be a website that listed conventions in Orlando and where they would be at (hotels). I lost my bookmark, does anyone know what I'm speaking of?

Your best bet is to look at the event calendar for the Orange County Convention Center. It's about 20 minutes from DW and is a very popular place for conventions. If there is an event there, it will generally have some impact on how busy the area, including DW, will be. I've been to a lot of events there, and they are usually selling the convention tickets for Disney World. They are discounted tickets that limit your time by dictating when you can go to the park. The most common are 1pm and later or 5pm and later tickets.

Even if you find that site, not sure it matters. Our company has had a few events @ Disney over the years and most of the days are taken up in meetings at the various Disney conference centers at various hotels. Maybe 1 day was free time where we could go to the park. We happened to be at Disney during one of those cheer competitions a few years ago and it made no difference to how crowded the parks were. Assumed the contestants were mostly busy during the day practicing or competing.
