Web Slingers High Score Strategy Master Thread

So, I have a minor obsession with getting high scores on the Disney shooter rides. I haven't cracked 400k on Toy Story, but I've gotten painfully close, and have been one. shot. (it still pains me) away from crossing 1M on Astro Blasters. I plan on improving all those scores this week. I've only done Web Slingers once, but it seems like it has the deepest gameplay engine of any of the shooters Disney has put out. Does anyone have an in-depth strategy guide for this ride? Maybe a personal strategy or something someone else has made. If not, is there anyone that would be willing to start working on developing one? I'll be at the parks a few times over the next couple of weeks and want to work on optimizing this ride.

Main things I'm curious about:
- Secret targets and values
- Utility of upcharge gadgets
- How to use the team to maximize score
- More specifically, what route am I following exactly? On Toy Story and Buzz I already know exactly what I'm shooting at and where for the whole ride, it's just a matter of execution.

I couldn't find anything about this anywhere else on the internet, so hopefully, we can figure something out here!

I wish! My arms got tired! All I can say is I did better on the right side of the ride than when I was seated on the left. :)

I typically get around 250-300K on webslingers which is often the highest score in the car. I try to aim at the spiders that are further away and the ones that are not the red/blue ones (they are the majority and lowest points ones). The various glowing ones have the higher point values (I think gold is highest). I also aim for the power cell things in the one area, but have never succeeded on getting them all off. I honestly just keep throwing overhand and hoping to do ok. Part of it also depends who you ride with - my score has been good but the others much lower too which keeps me out of the top 10.

In the final scene aim at the canon/laser looking things on the sides. It sets them off to take out a chunk of sliders on the ground.

I highly recommend watching Provost Park Pass's video on this as it is currently the only place that details some of the things to aim for (other than the high colored bots).

This is also a pay to win game. I'm still experimenting with Web Tech but you should at a minimum get a base web shooter and practice with it (know when to take it off on the ride). I'm consistently 250K to 350K without using Web Tech. With Web Tech, I'm consistently between 320K and 380K. This is with a team of 3 strangers. If you want the highest possible individual score, you need to go in with 4 people and have your 3 friends do nothing. I haven't really investigated the best way to maximize team score because I've never gone with enough people with experience to do it.

You also need to practice. I kept track of my scores for Ant Man and the Wasp in Hong Kong and was fairly consistently improving during my first 40 rides then bounced around a bit till I peaked on my 90th ride. I'm still improving at Astro Blasters as I'm only over 1M about 1/4 of the time but I think that if you are able to ride several times a day for several days a month, you will be able to get to your top scores after about 100 rides.
