Web Cert. & Disney store ?

Can you get Disney Dollars on line? I had hoped to use my web cert. that way. I guess I should have checked beore planning to do that.

You can take your web cert to the store and they will honor it. I printed out the page with the amount, my name and address, and the acct # and took it to the store and they let me buy a gift card.

DD are not available on line from Disney.

three times already and it worked ike a charm eaah time It wass sooo nice walking out of TDS each time with $DD in my ht little hand!! and saved the $6.95 charge for the plastic card on top of it

I now thatthere are quite a few people who have gone to the DS and been able to cash in the webcertificate and had the CM's there honor it. At our store we were not as lucky. They had no idea how to process the certificate. We paid fer the card and took it with us to WDW. It paid for an evening at Pleasure Island!!

I thought that GiftCards were not honored at Disney? Am I wrong? Just wondering because I thought I had read that somewhere...??

I would explain how I got the card (through these wonderful rewards programs and I thought by doing that it wouldn't look like I had a account # since I had just the # but no card. Two of the CM weree alittle confused but put it through anyway (I all three times I brought the printout with my name and address so everything would match one did ask for ID) ONe time the CM insisted she needed the card I told her the last time the CM just put it through the CM said the the first one shouldn't have done it that way so I just went to another DS and the manager thought it was a neat idea (she never heard opf rewwards programs but liked the idea ) she put it through manually and just like the first times worked like a charm!! I guess it depends on the CM you can always try another one

So I just need to print out the web cert. info. from MyPoints,
then take that to DS? If I could do that it would be great, but
I don't know if the CMs at our local DS would get it. If it was
a bigger amount, I would just pay the $6.95, but it's only for $10

ad it worked. If you get a CM that says they need the plastic card just go another time and get a different person I did that once also and that worked but bascially all you need is the pge printed from the webcertificates page that shows your number name and address ( I had one CM that asked for ID drivers license worked) that all i needed and I left wit my $10DD and saved the $6.95 for the plastic card good luck and write if you have any more ?'s

This is how I turned my webcert into Disney Dollars: My local mall has a website where you can order mall GCs online. I purchased a general mall GC using my Webcert # and used it to purchase DDs at the Disney store at the mall. No problem whatsoever.
