How is the weather looking for next tuesday?October 5th. Are we expecting any hurricanes? How are the crowds looking? I heard the parks have been pretty empty lately? Is this true?

So far so good! Lisa is heading far out in the Atlantic and no new depressions reported yet. Have fun!

so far not bad. I have my fingers crossed. Thank you so much for your help.

so far Rain during the time we will be there.:(

Raggedy,

For the days that I see - it says a 40% CHANCE of rain. Sounds pretty typical for Florida to me.

I will bet that you will have a good time no matter what the weather.

Try to relax. :)

I'm sure i will. My husband keeps telling me. "YOU spent all this money and we are getting rain". So it is making me a little nervous. I don't mind the rain. I keep telling him, that he will be at his convention and i don't mind the rain.

We just got back from the parks today. The weather has been beautiful (except for that hurricane in the middle of the trip). The attendance at the park has been really light. So much so that we didnt even have to use the "fast pass" to get on the rides we went quickly. No more than like a 20 minute wait for anything. Hope your trip goes as well.

Oh yeah, bring ponchos. The ones that fold up real small are easy to carry, wear them for the 10-20 minute rainshowers that happen about once a day. Most rides and things still go in the rain, as most are indoors.

On my last trip, Feb 2004, it poured out almost every day. You know what? We LOVED IT!!

It made the parks empty. We walked on to pretty much every ride over and over again. It was great. We barely got wet because we had umbrellas and we were mostly inside buildings.

If it rains, the parks clear out. And the rain usually does not last long. Maybe an hour.

There was only one day when the rain was unbearable, and that was because we were at MGM and there was a lot more space between rides.

thanks for your help. I think once my husband gets there , his attitude will change. Plus he is at his convention for the first 4 days anyway.

looks okay. there might be a depression in the carribbean that if it did do anything would go into the gulf but our weather guy thinks its not. we need a break. the weather right now is still high 80's with a afternoon shower. have fun.
