1-2 inches of rain predicted for this Wednesday! :sad:We'll be in EPCOT. Anyone else? Suggestions? :P

Ugh. We arrive that day. I came on to ask about inclement weather there. Do we bring rain boots? We are only in the park Thursday and Friday. Are you bringing rain boots? We have ponchos (except for 2 year old, but have rain cover for stroller).

I can say, I'm glad I scheduled so many character meals.

No rain boots, Crocs for the kids, flip flops for me. DH--? We have ponchos, too, but not sure they'll do much good in that kind of rain!

We've been in heavy rain before. We preferred to wear our own rain jackets because ponchos just seemed to be stifling and didn't offer much protection. So, bring rain jackets if you have them. If not, we have found that surprisingly, the ponchos you buy at Disney are the best quality. We brought our own a few years in a row - everything from dollar store ones to higher quality Coleman brand ones - and have found the Disney ones were the best, and it was also easy enough to just buy them there when we needed them rather than carrying them around.

Yeah- we bought Disney ones one year. And I bring them whenever we go! The great thing is if they rip they give you new ones! I was planning on 3 in one winter coats. I can do rain jackets too.

We bring water proof sandals (Teva, Keen, etc...) and rain coats... and just Gooooooo! So much fun and crowds tend to thin out.

When it rained Friday, we wore our ponchos (DW that we purchased years ago), and I told my wife she should wear her flip flops, she said she wouldn't, said it was hard to walk in them in the rain and puddles. We had extra pairs of shoes, so our feet were dry when we done, because they were soaked.

we were here for the bucketing rain on Friday - ponchos and some kind of water proof shoe - DD and I wore flip flops - dh has waterproof or water tolerant sandals. Does anyone know if Tiana has a rain meeting location? I know she used to meet inside (during the construction phase) but they now have tables in that building....?

When I woke up this morning (8 am eastern time) it said windchill was 29 in Orlando. I thought that it would be too cold for tevas especially in rain. It's supposed to be a low of 50 this week-were the sandals too cold?

4 days out still has plenty of time for the weather to do some crazy things. The gulf can be unpredictable anything more then 2-3 days out.
