Okay, so if truth be known, I am a little bored at work today. I have read the most recent threads, added my own thoughts and comments where I could and now what I really want to know is....

Whats the weather like at the moment? I have just under three weeks till i arrive and am so excited about my trip that I already have the suitcases out and am starting to work out what we all need. And yes, I know it can change but generally how warm is it during the day? does the temp go down much at night? Has it been raining much? Yes, I know about the weather network, but hearing it direct from you guys so close to the action is so much more fun!

Only 2weeks, 6 days till our US/IOA & WDW holiday

It has cooled off. Which to us Floridians means it is only 90! :rotfl:

I think it's been really nice this week. I mean...I washed my car this past weekend and I haven't been rained on yet. I work in downtown Orlando and live in West Orange County so no storms yet. I'm hoping that will remain the case for this weekend. It's been warm but no where near as humid so I'm hoping we've turned that corner. Last night was beautiful with the gusty winds and warm temps.

adding onto the weather question.... at WDW some parks are better for rainy days (epcot) than others (AK). Is there a "rain" plan for Us/IOA? OR does it really matter as long as you have a hopper and can go back and forth? Are there certain rides/shows to head to when it starts to rain as you know they will be operating?

Now my for my experience with late October weather: it's really all over the place! I have been to WDW the last 3 years in a row and the first year it rained every day except one. Ponchos on, ponchos off, repeat over and over. The next year it was cold every day! Thankfully we didn't have any water parks planned. We took one dip in the pool, but overall it was chilly the entire week. Last year we had very pleasant days. So, here's hoping October is like last year! We were able to enjoy a water park, it wasn't overly hot, rain didn't ruin any plans, etc.

Well Ducky_love, you poor Floridians do have it tough don't you!:rotfl: Remind me to post again in January when it will be -30 here is sunny Ontario!

It's good to know that the weather is good now, even though it may change. We have travelled before in October but not for a couple of years, so as usual I will be bringing the shorts and suncream, along with the ponchos and a sweater just in case - who said that us women can't travel light!:rotfl2:
