This past weekend we've had a good amount of rainfall in the Orlando area but it looks as though the weather will get back to normal this week. Expect hot and humid conditions with afternoon thunderstorms.

Typical weather this time of year at WDW is temperatures in the mid-90s with an afternoon thundershower. Think hot and humid.

Oh, and :welcome: to the DIS!

You can buy ponchos while you are there that I'd keep handy. It is hot, humid and have afternoon thunderstorms that pop up.

We were there in June and the one time I left the poncho in the room, storm clouds rolled in and it started pouring. We had to buy more and got soaked getting to the store to buy them. Ooops.

If you are wearing tennis shoes in the parks, I'd also bring a change of socks in with you. If your socks get wet, a quick change of socks really helps keep your feet comfy and blister free.

Have a great time!

I would be prepared for hot, and VERY humid weather, with occasional quick rain showers or thunderstorms during the day. Make sure to bring ponchos, as many people leave the parks because they think the storms are going to last all day; they usually only last 20-30 minutes at the most (in my experience,) but there is always a chance they could last for a few hours. If you stay in the parks when other people are leaving, the wait times for rides will be much shorter. :)

:welcome: To the Dis :thumbsup2

Be prepared for all types of weather - bright (and sticky) sunshine or torrential rain (and sticky), it can be both in a matter of minutes.

Drink plenty of water you don't realise how much you lose due to the humidity and try to stay out of the heat as much as possible esp. during the middle of the day.

If staying on property factor in some down time over lunch/early afternoon and head back to the parks later in the day.

Have a wonderful holiday :goodvibes
