We will be cruising about a year from now, I hear about all the tropical storms down there, is everything OK on the cruises?

What happens if we book an excursion on our own, and Disney changes port order? Are we screwed? Does Captain Marvin's charge you if you don't show, and how would you rebook with them for another day if you're on the ship, on-line, by phone (is that possible on the ship?)

thanks!

I have been on three September cruise and only once we were diverted. We missed Castaway Cay and went to Key West instead. For the most part, the ship sail to the ports as expected.

If you decide to book your own excursion, be sure that you understand the cancellation policy and procedures. It will be up to you to make any necessary changes. If there is a penalty for canceling, then you will pay the penalty, not DCL. It is the risk you take.

Good luck and have a wonderful cruise.

We sailed last September, just before Halloween, and the weather was great. We had a little rain and clouds at Castaway Cay, but no major storms. I think it is just a chance you have to take in September. There is a tropical storm in the Western Carib. this week. If there is a hurricane, the ship will take another route. Have a great trip!
We have 48 days until our Western Cruise!!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
