Ugh just saw this and of course being here this week.

Good thing I scheduled ALOT of dining reservations to break things up. Go early , take midday breaks and come back a little later is my strategy during this time. Sunblock and hydration are even more important when wearing masks too.

We wore light camelbaks backpacks when we were there a couple of weeks ago. We were able to slip the hose under our masks while in line without lowering our masks, and it greatly helped to keep us hydrated.

Yes! I was skeptical, but I am now a solar umbrella enthusiast. It is notably cooler underneath.

It makes a HUGE difference. Regular umbrellas do nothing to actually block the sun rays. The UV blocking umbrellas literally feel 20 degrees cooler underneath. It's like being under a rooftop shade.

Yep, I just Amazoned it umbrella getting here Wednesday before we head out next Sunday. It’s supposed to be cooler by then, but I’m sure it’ll come in handy on future trips!

I was about to ask the same thing. My daughter is visiting a friend in Phoenix and that looks like the weather reports she's been giving me. Wow that's hot lol. I will be meeting her in LA and we will head over to DL together later this week.

We used 2 of these at the beginning of this month in WDW. At the start of the trip, my DH was teasing me about how the kids & I were bringing those "lame" looking silver umbrellas. But you know what? On an especially hot HS afternoon and an even more hot MK day, DH asked to use 1 of the umbrellas and is now sold on them.

It felt a good 10 degrees cooler standing underneath it.

When you combine that with a fan, it makes things more tolerable.

Several people stopped us to ask where we got the UV umbrellas. It was a lifesaver in the outdoor queues and walking in between rides.

We used 2 of these umbrellas, purchased off of Amazon.

DH also used this neck fan.

The kids & fought over this handheld fan.

Both of those fans worked better than the Disney AA-battery-powered fans, but if that's all you're able to get, it's way better than nothing at all!
