Hi there!

In keeping with the possibility of a Disney wedding in 2014/2015, I was curious about the weather. I would like to get married at a time that is NOT hot (i.e. nothing above 80 degrees) and wouldn't mind if it was actually quite chilly (I have been to the parks before where it is in the 40s and 50s and I really don't mind that). I'm looking to have my wedding in the fall of 2014 (from October on) or early 2015. What do you guys think would be a good time frame to have weather anywhere from 50s to 70s? Have any of you been married during the fall/winter months and can share experiences?

Thanks!!

It sounds like December, January or early February may be your best bets. And if you avoid the marathon and spring break, Jan. and Feb. also bring lower crowds and lower prices.

Just know that the weather can vary a LOT in Orlando, even in the winter. Our Feb. 4 wedding had perfectly balmy mid-70s temperatures, but when we went back for our anniversary the next year, it was 29 degrees. And when I went at the same time last year, it was in the 80s!

thanks so much @lurkyloo! do you have any idea if they charge extra to have a wedding during holiday seasons/weekends (i.e. Columbus Day, week of Thanksgiving, etc.)?

No, that disclaimer really only applies to the cost of DJs on weekends in December and to those now-past special dates like 12-12-12 and 11-11-11. :thumbsup2
