Hello

I will be going to Disney World this Friday through Tuesday. Looks like it might rain and have overcast. However, the temperature says it's gonna be about 75 to 80 degrees. ?????

How do I dress? Will it rain all day? What should I expect?

Any tips?

My family usually goes the first or second week of November and we've found that wearing summer clothes (shorts/t-shirts) and carrying sweatshirts/light jackets in our backpacks for the evenings does the trick. The evenings can get surprisingly cold. The rain is usually passing and we always carry ponchos.

I'll never forget one night while waiting for Fantasmic. It had been a gorgeous day and became absolutely freezing at night. We were thankful that we lugged around the backpack all day because those jackets were definitely necessary.

We will also be there at that time. :cool1:

Firstly, you do know that the weather forecasters for WDW aren't any better than those of your home town - right?

While the weather for past years isn't an indication of what you can expect this year, we've been in early November quite a few times. The weather isn't normally rainy, but this is towards the end of Orlando's rainy season. That means you should expect an afternoon thunderstorm. Bring along some disposable ponchos and you'll be ready if it happens.

Oh, and my predictions are no more accurate that the weather forecasters. ;)

I'm sad there is going to be rain at any time of the day. :worried:

I've been planning this trip for 6 months and I was hoping to get lucky with the weather.

You just never know...we had a rain storm today and there was only a ten percent chance. Very breezy and cloudy. A jeans and tshirt kind of day with a light jacket in the morning and at night. I would not trust the forecast, just pack layers. Have fun, Disney is great rain or shine!

Thank you for your words. :flower3:

I also have tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

What happens to the parade if it rains???
