Thinking about trip to WDW in May. Have always gone in October or November and really like the temperature then. Would May be warmer or much the same as the Fall. :flower: :flower: :flower:

may is much much warmer. 80-80's each day...warm nights. Late april / early may is the best month weather wise.

October/November is still hurricane season.

May is not.

Another advantage to spring over fall.

We have gone in late May a few times. The temps were wonderful, for our taste. Usually the mid 80's. I think it'll be warmer than your oct/nov time frame. I think it depends on whether we're talking early May or late May. If early May, it might be about the same as early October. You know FL weather can be iffy in the Fall. May will not be iffy. It'll be warm.

I like it that way though. I don't really like Nov Florida weather. I want it to be at least 80. Which it can be in November, but it can also be much cooler.

May is hot and can be rainy. We were there the last week in May and temps were in the upper 80s and lower 90s and humidity made it feel much warmer. The weather during our October trip (2nd week) was still warm but much more pleasant. Crowds were about the same both trips -- maybe a little more crowded in October.

We were there in early May and it was HOT (lower 90's) and HUMID! It was really unbearably hot; much more so than we thought it would be. Just be prepared for it if you go then and remember to pack sunscreen. BTW, we have also gone in late October and twice in November, and thought the weather those times was near perfect.

Ditto. This past May was HOT and HUMID (May 14-20 2005) - oppressive as far as we're concerned. Not sure if it was a fluke for May, since we'd never been in May before. We were fighting over my DD5's misting fan! Crowds were very manageable, as someone else mentioned.

We have gone both the first and third weeks of May in different years. The first week was much nicer...sunny, warm, less humid.

The third week was hot. But we are from Vermont and think 70 is hot....

Our June trip was the worse though! 3rd week of June, 90's every day. I hadn't found these boards yet and didn't know all the "secret tips" so we fried.

Went around the 15th of May before and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! I would definitely go back at that time of year. :sunny:

we went in May a few years ago and would have to agree with the other posters. It was Hot Hot Hot. Maybe it was so bad because we weren't expecting it to be so hot. I don't know. We found the Animal Kingdom to be unbearable in the heat.

We have been there at both times...May was hot and humid. First Novembar trip was great. It was warm and very little humidity. Second November trip the weather was horrible!!! It was rainy and cool...the last day we were there it was 40 degrees and we were not prepared for that!!!!
