What exactly does "Isolated" or "Scattered" Thunderstorms mean???

Does it mean just a stray shower and sun the rest of the day?

We are leaving on Friday and I will just go NUTS if it rains a lot!!

Please - someone do a sun dance!!!

Greetings from a fellow Pennsylvanian (Northeast Philly)...I wouldn't pay much attention to a forecast like that. Conditions in DisneyWorld (er, Orlando Florida), often have very brief showers or none at all (when the weather forecast calls for showers). On our last trip in October, I remember reading the same forcast for the whole week, and lo and behold we had sunny skies everyday. Just think positive and have a wonderful time!

Hello from another PA person, Bucks County,...we're leaving Thursday and I had the same question about isolated and scattered. What's the difference? The weather makes me nuts when we travel...I become weather obsessed. The thought of running around WDW wearing a dollar store, which I did buy in hopes of scaring off the rain, rain poncho doesn't appeal to me at all, but I think it will still be better than home. I may have to do a sun dance or something. Have a good trip!

It means just that...there are thunderstorms in the area but they most likely will be small and well isolated...not a constant rain. Short brief storms if any.

We're staying at Port Orleans Riverside. I'm jealous of you, I've wanted to stay at either the Contemporary or Polynesian since my mom first took me to WDW when I was 7. Have a great time!

I've noticed that the temps are going higher.
