We'll be there during Christmas week and I was wondering if the days there have felt warm enough to wear short sleeves. I've been watching the weather and it looks like it's pretty cool there, but we don't want to be overbundled either. Also, are the lockers there big enough to hold a heavy jacket that we can bring for the evenings?

sure is... its freeeezing...

I read it is supposed to be in the 60s to low 50s during the day and in the 40s to 30s at night. I would say no shorts.

Just got home to Texas about an hour ago, it's 70 and feels great. Just spent the last 6 days at DLR and it was cool to cold, never warm enough for short sleeves. Last night for electric light parade I had on a long sleeve thermal shirt and a sweater and a coat with a hat and gloves and jeans of course. Be prepared to bundle up. During the day we wore long sleeve shirts and jackets. There was wind and rain while we were there.

Are the lockers big enough to put heavy jackets, etc during the day?

Over a few days you get really good at munching things up to fit in the locker :thumbsup2

Odd Trivia....
We get a little thrill when we see the DL lockers... they are made in MN, it wasn't until a few months ago that the local malls in MN (even Mall of America) started using the same type of all day in and out lockers.

I haven't looked at the forecast yet.. too scared!
Hope it's not lows of 30 to 40, that's what we have here in our brown winter. We had a high of 50 just a few days ago, today was in the mid 30s for a high.. still atypical for us. Darn it I want it to snow!!! Gotta enjoy the green in Cali :p

Currently it's very very cold all over SoCal. Everyone is bundled up, so I dont' think you will feel out of place. According to the local TV weatherman, it will warm up a little by Christmas (high 60s and low 70s), but it's still not short sleeve weather. I think you should be find with a light sweater or jacket during the day.

LIES, im in my sweatshirt and im FREEEEEEEEEZING!

you gonna need something heavier...

If you head to the park in the early morning, I suggest bringing gloves and wearing a warm jacket. It's butt-freezing cold on the tram...brrrr! We're getting some funky weather here in Los Angeles. This morning I scraped some frost off of my windshield and back window it was definitely strange. :confused3

What lies???? My post states that it's curently very very cold and you're saying it's freezing. To me, that's the same thing. :confused3

Layers are great. I just returned from DL and on Saturday I had short sleeves on and capris for maybe an hour, but then needed my sweatshirt. That night was COLD and rainy and wet. It gets a lot colder as the sun sets (around 4:30) and that is when I changed to pants and DH changed out of his shorts into pants. I wore a sweatshirt non-stop most of the trip, maybe took it off for an hour yesterday but that is it. I did wear sandals during the day because they are more comfy than shoes. I changed to shoes around sunset each day. Also, nights were chilly, so I put on my flannel pj pants under my regular pants and wore a second sweatshirt and I was just right. DL sells hot chocolate in cute souvineer mugs for $5 and it was the best $5 I spent there.

Unfortunately I had to return home to lows in the teens, and I'm wishing I could have the lows like in DL. Have a great trip.

Nights are COLD. I had a frozen windshield yesterday morning and DH said the temp was 24 degrees that night.
