We are from Northern California and this week, it started to cool down. My husband keeps on asking me if Florida will be like here and he's worried we are not going to enjoy if it is cold like here.

Please help me convince my husband that Florida is always warm/humid.

Thanks.

I remember alot of days in Oct last year being in the 80's. The days should be warm. The nights might get cool. Right now it's in the high 80's during the day and 70's at night.

We have been to Florida about 8 times in Oct and always been perfect weather. Shorts all the time, only time you need extra layers on is with the aircon.
Wouldn't go again in July/Aug we had nothing but Thunderstorms all 2 weeks.
May was similar to Oct.
Xmas was very very cold Ice on windscreens every morning but worth it to be in Disney Xmas/new year.

I live in the Orlando area, and I promise you that central Florida is much warmer than Northern California! (Unless there is some weather anomoly when you are here.) October is my favorite month here, except that it's always too hot to wear most of the costumes on the market on Halloween, if that's any indication of weather. :)

When i visit California, i always have to borrow warm clothes because I assume that the weather is the same as in Florida; even San Diego was a bit chilly for me. Northern Cali is downright frigid compared to central Florida.

It snowed on Halloween for us a couple years ago and we are only 40 mins north of Boston.

We have friends that just moved to Clermont and have never experienced a hurricane. They want to come back to the snow in the worst way now.
