Weather not great

So we've been back home for about 5 weeks now and I just remembered this thread. Before I start, I just want to say that I continue to pray for all affected by Sandy. We were at WDW during Sandy and luckily it wasn't too bad there. The first day it POURED for about 2 straight hours...right as we had just started eating at the F&W festival. My cheddar cheese soup and ice wine were getting a lot of rain in the cups LOL! Then we had a couple of days with stong winds but nothing was cancelled...even our MNSSHP night. The temps were very cool so we couldn't use the pools. We were very worried about Sandy because at one point it seemed to be heading towards Western MA..where we live.. and our two sons were at home by themselves. They are in their early twenties but we were still concerned. Then the airlines started cancelling flights and our flight on 10/29 was cancelled. We called ASAP and luckily were able to get a flight back on 10/30. In the end my DH and I had a good time celebrating his birthday at WDW and got to spend one extra day there.
