Weather in September

What kind of weather can we expect in the first two weeks of September? Daytime and night time? Never been in September!!

Hot and humid.

Hot, very very hot--and humid. We went the 3rd week of September and it was super hot. It did not cool down at night!!

I live here (about 75 miles due west of WDW) and you can expect hot and humid. And I mean hot. Temps are still close to or in the 90's here then. Anticipate afternoon T-storms that last at least 15-30 min.

Unless there is an unusual front, the weather here then is still full swing summer. It doesn't normally break (cooler,drier) until the end of Oct.

Also needed to know this, thanks. If it rains, will they close the rides or will it be fine? I've only ever been to disney once in a storm, and they did shut expedition Everest, but the weather was SOOOO bad. This was in may, though. It doesn't really matter if they do shut them- ill just do some character greetings or head back to my resort, but I'm just curious

I've only seen temporary shut downs for the outside rides (Big Thunder Mountain) and the Water Parks.

Fireworks can be delayed but rarely cancelled.

Pack ponchos and towels, can't stress rain enough. Expect it every day.
