weather in orlando

anybody just return from WDW or go around this time last year and can tell me about the weather?? shorts/short sleeves during the day? do we need a jacket at night?

any info is great!!

We were just there February 12 - 17th and had FANTASTIC weather. It was the best weather I've ever had in Florida. The day we arrived it was about 70 and then it warmed up to between 75-80 each day. We were very happy with the weather. That said, Florida can be very iffy this time of year. Last year at the same time, it was cold to cool every day - jacket weather.

I would plan on bringing a jacket for sure. Layers are best at this time of the year.

I live here in South Florida and this time of year is tricky!! last week we were warm and rainy today it is SUNNY and cool. I would bring stuff you can layer.

We were there the last week of Feb. '04. We had 2 days in the low 80's, a couple right around 70, and a couple of awful, wet, cold, windy days! We spent a day at BB, and we spend 2 days in fleece coats, hats, gloves and rain ponchos! In Feb. you must prepare for everything! Having said that, we did have a great time, not too crowded and the weather only stopped us from doing three things: DH was rained out of the Richard Petty experience (but made it up here at home) , it was too darn cold to rent watermice and both nights we were thwarted in our attemp to see Wishes (one night pouring rain, one night freezing cold). So those last two are things we plan to do next year!

Last week we were warm and sunny here in southwest Florida and today it's gray and the high here in Naples is only going to be around 64. It's supposed to warm up by this weekend and be in the uppers 70's. Orlando will be a bit cooler than we are.

If you were here right now, you would most definitely need a jacket at night. Nights have been in the low 50's to high 40's and sometimes dipping lower. You would also need rain gear for the next couple of days, as it is supposed to be rainy. It is definitely very cloudy today, not adding to the temperatures in any great manner.
