Can anyone give us a clue on weather during this time?
We just made our reservations today for the last wk in Oct-1st week in Nov. We are very excited about this trip! We've never been during this time of year but thought we would try something new.
Thanks!

We were in WDW in '04 from 10/27 - 11/2 and I thought the weather was great. High 70's to low 80's during the day except for one cloudy/sl. rainy day that was high 60's. And at night temps were around the mid 60's, with one or two nights of upper 50's. The days were warm enough to swim and in the parks we were comfy in shorts/t-shirts but on our early mornings out we did start off with sweatshirts. And at night, pants and sweatshirts. It was our first fall trip and we really enjoyed being there at that time of year. Try to get to MNSSHP if you can -- we went 10/31/04 and it was the best!!

We've been during this exact time frame 4 times in the past. The majority of the time the days are in the high 70's to high 80's and nights usually in the 60's. But there was one crazy year ('99) when some of the days never got out of the low 70's and the nights fell into the 40's ! We were at Illuminations one night during '99 FREEZING. Got up to go to the parks the next morning and it was 41 degrees at the time of park opening.
So I'd mostly pack for warm weather, but it can't hurt to bring along sweatshirts and one pair of long pants just in case.
Have fun ! Try and do MNSSHP as well as checking out the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. Great time of the year to visit.

We like that time of year - still warm enough for pool time but not as muggy, humid hot as in Jul, Aug and early Sept.
Do take a light sweater or sweatshirt for evenings and if you want a pair of long pants (clam diggers are enough). Some evenings can get cool.
Before going, do check the weather channel that talks about a week in advance - we went in Dec. when it's supposed to be the dryest time of year and it was the year of el nino and it rained all day every day for 4 days straight. Needless to say we didn't have a 2nd pair of shoes, we had not jeans (it was freezing).
Don't worry too much though, you can always buy stuff while there, plenty of shops and what a great excuse. :earsboy:

It is still quite warm, shorts weather and great for swimming.
