How is the weather in November? We are going the week after Thanksgiving and I was wondering if I need to worry about packing for the pool?? Thanks

Weather in November can be all over the place. We've been where we were in shorts/capris during the day and heavy sweatshirts at night. I honestly would check out the extended forecast about a week before to get an approximation and would pack a little bit of everything.

November is a pack everything month. You could be wearing coats or shorts. I would take the swim stuff just in case.

I agree with the others. Even if the "forecast" for your trip is warm & sunny, pack for cooler weather also. I made that mistake one year and ended up buying fleece jackets & gloves because it got so cold at night (in the 40's) and we were packed for 70's & 80's weather. Just the day before, it had been in the 80's and we swam.

So be prepared for warm & cold!

Our last trip was in Nov. Our first few days we wore jeans and light jackets and for the last part of our stay the temps got up to the high 80's. I would pack your swim wear, shorts, jeans and a jacket. You never know. We had checked the forecast before we left, but it was wrong.

I could not agree more. Pack for anything. We usually go in November. Most days the kids are in shorts and t-shirts. A lot of days we have sweatshirts in the morning and evening. I do capris and hubby does same as kids. Seems like there are always people in the pool. I think we only got in the pool one year. We only ever really needed winter coats one year.

We were there the week after Thanksgiving last year and we were in the pool and at the water park. I also brought jackets, mitts, and hats for everyone just in case although we never ended up using them.

I always take a swim suit for hot tubbing..even in February!

I went in November 2012 and wore both my fleece and my swimsuit, LOL. The sun was warm mid-afternoon and we had a couple of great pool afternoons. The evenings were cool, but not cold (to us, from PA). I mostly wore capris with a t shirt, and a sweatshirt early a.m. and after dark. One night it was cold enough for fleece.

I packed hats and knit gloves, but we did not use those. We went for 7 days, I packed about 3 days of cold weather clothes and 3 days of warm weather clothes. I did one load of warm weather clothes laundry mid-week.

I live 3 hours south of Disney, West Palm Beach area. November is usually 70's and cooler at night. Not much rain. We do have years where we have a cool front go threw but that would only last a few days at most. :yay:

oh!! you live in my town!

So do you have to go back to your resort mid day to change clothes??

I usually layer OR just suck it up and wear something I know will work for the heat of the day. I might be cool in the morning, but fine by noon

then again, I am a whimpy S Florida chick that is usually cold when others aren't
