I'm not sure where this belongs so, feel free to move if necessary. I was just wondering what the weather is like now in Florida? We are going 11/4 for a couple days and wondered if shorts / capris are ok? We always go in July so, this time of the year is new for us.

This will be first time in November for me also. My sister lives in Florida and have mainly been there in February before.

Anyway, I've bookmarked this weather site. Looks like temperatures are rather even with high 70s daytime to low 60s evening. I hope to wear capris and short sleeves with a light jacket if I am at the park in the evening -- but am packing for a little cooler in case it gets that way!

HAVE FUN!! :sunny:

I was thinking of buying DF and I the Christmas sweaters that they have in the Disney Store for MVMCP on the 13th, think we'll be too warm? Or we'll be good? TIA! :)

Hard to say about the sweaters. I haven't seen the ones you speak of so I don't know how heavy they are. Most likely, it will be too warm earlier in the evening, but maybe will get cold enough by the time you are leaving the park.

Early November, in my limited experience was relatively warm, later in November, the days - and night get considerably cooler, and would be more likely to be sweater weather.

On the other hand...the Florida locals seem to think winter coats are warrented if the weather drops below 60 - so it's all relative.

Thanks for the info. on this weather site. I've been wondering about the weather in WDW myself. We will be there Nov.26th-Dec.2nd

We were there the first week of Nov in 04. It was HOT - but I also think it may have been unusally hot as we were breaking records each day. The last day or two of the trip I think temps went back to normal. We were still in shorts and t-shirts during the day and maybe threw a sweatshirt on at night.

It is hard to tell about sweaters. It has to be cold for me to want to wear a sweater. Hopefully you will be there the evening before and can judge by that.

But I just wanted to laugh about MickeyLuv'r talking about the locals. My sister (and her daughter) will be in long sleeves and sweats in Feb when we are in shorts and tank tops visiting. Her daughter (snotty little brat :teeth: - teasing) -- says she can always tell who the tourists are by the shorts and sneakers ... la la la -- she is talking about my DH & I cause we fit that category!!!

Today it started out cloudy and the rain was a fine mist. It actually felt a little cool when I was on the magic carpet attraction. By the time we left the MK at 2:30, it was very hot.

We visited Florida in November 03 and went swimming at the pool in our friends development. Kids on the school bus looked on in horror as they drove by. We then returned January 04 and it was chilly, but 50s. We returned in January and DS6(at the time) and I had short sleeve polo shirts and shorts on when we went out to breakfast and the waitress asked if we were from Alaska. Kids were wearing winter coats with boots and gloves and hats and we were chuckling. It was about 12 below when we left the day before. Its all relative. :confused3 :teeth: :cool1:

We were there last November. In the beginning, the weather was very warm. While we were at MGM, a cold front came through and temps dropped rapidly!!! We spent the rest of the week in jeans and sweatshirts.

So... I would say be prepared for anything!

Good to know! Thanks!

This is the first year in 5 years that we haven't gone during Veteran's Day week. We have always brought mainly shorts, 1 or 2 pair of capris, a pair of jeans & a light jacket or sweatshirt for the evenings.

We've always been able to swim.

Wow, another Ty... Very cool.

The 10 day for Orlando looks a little wet but it will be a whole lot warmer there then at home. I stopped at Target the other day and bought 4 blue ponchos. We will be the blue spots in a sea of yellow Mickey ponchos.

We are hoping for nice warm weather so we can go to TL. Anything has to be better than the cold rainy day we are having in NY right now...at least it isn't snowing!

Hmmm this is always a hard one... in 03' it was cool more pants, sweatshirts... a few days with shorts or capri's, maybe during the day we would have a tee shirt with capri's, kind of thing, at night cooler.... 04' it was warm, shorts a lot of the time, at night maybe threw on a sweatshirt, or put on capri's...

A good thing to do is to layer, and be able to add or take away as the day changes... mornings may be a cool... afternoons might warm up, and then at night be a bit chilly again... I am from the midwest, so I know cold... layering is the way to go!

Been there twice in November for Jersey Week. Both in '03 & '05 the weather was in the 80's.
