Weather in mid October?

We were on the Magic 2-21-04 (Eastern ) and had a great time, so I was thinking of going on the 4 night Wonder (Sun- Thurs.) around mid October when my kids were on break. I've only gone on a cruise in winter or spring and know hurricane season is June-November. What are really my weather chances in mid October? What is air temp. and water temp. like in the Bahamas during that time? Also, when is formal night and is ther a semi-formal night? Could someone give me a nightly schedule of what to expect? Thanks!

We cruise this past Halloween and the weather was wonderful. It was beautiful at every port and especially gorgeous at Castaway Cay.

If you are thinking about this year, the Wonder is in dry dock some of October. Frankly, I love sailing in October. I think the weather is great! I only like WARM water & I can get in at CC then (wouldn't go near on my January or November cruise). No formal or Semi formal nights other than dressing a little nicer for Triton's. and it was beautiful every time - sunny, warm, water was beautiful.

Last cruise (11/2-6) we hit hurricane winds which weren't exactly pleasant, but made for great memories & conversation! A bit nauseous the first night, but by midnight all was well & on to enjoy the wonderful, warm weather the rest of the trip.
