So my husband and I will be going to Disneyland in a few short weeks in May. I was just wondering how warm is it during the day or night? I am trying to figure out what I might need to pack for clothes. Will I need more shorts or jeans?

we were there in may last year for 10 nights and we had great weather...it drizzed our last day there but the sun was out by noon...most mornings started out overcast and the sun made it's appearance late morning...we wore shorts and capris every day and if we had a light zip up or hoody, we just took it off later....i think it got into the mid 80's most days, the funny thing is we are from bc,canada and so many people think we are cold year round here(:rotfl2: ), it was actually in the 90's here while we were away..have fun, when we go back, i want to go again in may, great weather and low crowds....

We were there in May '04. It was about 60 or so degrees in the am and during the day was really fair. No rain, sunny but cool. Never went over mid 70s. Then it was about 59 degrees at night.

*for us it was FREEZING, I wore jeans during the day, we're from Hawaii and we're not use to the cold. And 59 degrees is cold to us :hehe:.... brrr....:rotfl2:

This is a good point. "Hot" and "cold" are relative terms, so it depends on what you're used to. I recall seeing the average temps by month somewhere, and that May was in general warmer than September (when we went.) There were a few days in the mid-80Fs during our trip, one was 88, and that was too hot for us, especially to be running around the park. We wilted. :faint:

I would expect the temps to be in the 70s if not 80s in May, and cooler in the mornings and after dark. We were comfortable in shorts and t-shirts during the day, a sweatshirt over the top if needed in the a.m. and after dark.

We are going from May 11th - 17th and I have been checking the extended weather forecast every day for the past several days waiting for our dates to be posted. So far, (for the first 4 days of our trip), the weather range is from 72 on one day to 84 on two other days and between 52 and 57 degrees at night. So, that seems to be pretty much the same as what people are saying. I am bringing shorts for the daytime and jeans/hoodie for the evenings. So far, no rain predicted for the first days of our trip.....:yay:

We were there may 2004 and it was a miserable 105 at disney that day. But they did say it was record breaking so it probably won't be that hot.
