Hi

Its my dh 30th in March 2007 and was wondering what was the weather like in March? We have been in summer before and we are due to leave soon for our October break to WDW.

Are the ques big? Does it rain much? Can you wear shorts? :confused3

I have been getting quotes based on next years prices and it is £907 cheaper than to go in May. Also my husbands birthday is in March it would be nice to hand him the tickets supposed to some itinerary.

I hope you can help not sure when to go. Sorry its early but I need a while to save up without my husband finding out.

Thanks

We were in WDW in March of both 2001 and 2002. We had great weather on both trips. We wore shorts most of the time but did use jeans and light jackets also. The kids were able to swim both years too. I don't think we had a drop of rain on either trips. The parks were busy but managable. Many schools is the US have spring breaks during various times in March. Just something to consider.

We've been in March twice ... 2004 and 2005. Both times we had many days that were what I'd call pleasant. Not too hot, not too cold. Touring the parks is so nice that way .... no one needed to drink non-stop and nice breezes when we felt warm. But we found ourselves with light jackets either on or around our hips most days. It would be too cool to leave in the mornings without one ... warm during the day ... and if we didn't go to the resort again before dinner ...we needed jackets for evening, and often long pants. One night in Epcot this past March we all bought sweatpants to change into from our shorts so we could stay and watch Illuminations. Didn't find a pair for DH and he stayed chilly in shorts and toughed it out. Haven't had much rain either trip. Got to use the pools both times, but had to wait for the warmest day to swim both years! Needless to say, it wasn't crowded at Blizzard Beach this past March.
I'd go in March again ... but we've promised the kids we'll go this next time when they can swim A LOT more than they have in the past! So ... hot summer here we come!

We have gone in March and in April. March was a bit more crowded as more people have spring break then, but we were there the last part of the month. The weather was fine. We only wore shorts... had rain a couple times but less than what I'd consider Florida's 'normal'. It is much more comfortable than in the summer.
