What sort of weather should we prepare for? We've never been during anytime except Summer so we're trying to prepare ourselves for bringing some heavier clothing. What's the average weather like? I know mornings are usually brisk and nights get pretty chilly too during summer.

I'm not sure on averages but I do know it varies and can go from cloudy and cool to hot. We were there second to last week in october in 2009 and had 90 degree weather. I had to go buy shorts. I would consider checking various weather websites a few days before your trip so it will at least guide you to an average temp.

We are going in late October as well. What I have found on the averages are that typical weather is right around 80 degrees in the daytime with night time temps in the 50's. For November you drop to the low 70's daytime and close to 50 night time. I look at both as they usually group it by the month.

Hope this helps. I know for us we will pack both shorts and long pants, with a possible outfit change mid-day. And Sweatshirts /jackets are a must!

We went to DLR in October last year and it was HOT. It was shorts and t-shirt weather everyday (except early morning fog and late evening cool down). I'd just check weather forecasts up to two weeks before you go and see what to expect. It will most likely be warm, but in California you never know...could be rain.

ok i agree with everything the above are saying except checking the weather forecast 2 weeks out...if you go that far out, I guarantee it will have changed several times by the time you get ready to go....I would look a week or so out but not take it serious until like 2 or 3 days out...my online weather forecaster recommendation is

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClic...ll&smap=1&searchresult=Anaheim, CA 92802, USA

over the years I have used many of them...weather.com, accuweather, just to name a couple..and the one that I have found that has been the closest in accuracy is the link i gave you...Ive been using this one for over a year now and I cant tell you the amount of times where it gave me down to the hour what it was going to be like and it happened exactly like it said...its so cool being able to tell my friends its going to rain around 11am and it happens:rotfl:...but yeah its hard going in Oct. because you literally have to pack for both types of weather...cold AND warm..i always start out in shorts and short sleeve with a jacket and then as the day progresses I take off the jacket but by the time the sun is going down around 5ish or so, I have to change into pants and long sleeves and a thick jacket or else I freeze
