Weather in July?

This will be our first time experiencing Orlando in July. Please tell me your experiences about the weather. We will be there in late July?

It will be very hot and HUMID. It will rain almost every afternoon. Not a big deal, but it will happen. Go early to the parks. If you are staying on-site at Universal you will have FOTL and you can do a lot in a few hours. Have lunch somewhere cool, go back to the hotel and go in the pool or take a nap - go back to the parks in the evening.

I think this is the routine that most people will recommend for a summer visit to Orlando!

It will be hot, but you will still have fun!

Thank you for your responses! We are staying on site and will definitely take advantage of the pool during the hot hours of the afternoons!

Sounds like we need to be prepared for everything!!

One real nice thing about the Universal parks are the gigantic misting fans. Stand in front of one of those for a minute or two and you'll feel refreshed. Maybe refreshed is too strong of a word, but you'll at least feel better.

We also carried around (we had a stroller so it was easy) small--maybe 1 quart--Igloo water jugs that we filled with lots of ice and bottled water in the morning and then refilled as needed during the day. We carried some bottled water in a little cooler bag and when we ran out we used tap. We have two for our family of 6. When we returned for our mid-day break we refilled and were good to go later.

Highs in the low to mid 90's with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms.
