Hi

I'm thinking of booking Hard Rock Dec. 26th to Dec. 31st. Will it be too cold to use the pool? I looked at Florida weather charts, and it said the high is 72 in Orlando in December. I know it can vary, sometimes getting really cold, but in general, is late Dec. too cold to enjoy a vacation there? I'm thinking of the water rides, too. Are we going to freeze?

Thanks!

We've been to the Hard Rock at Xmas, and the pool is heated to a reasonable temperature, and when your in the water you will be fine.

But if the outside temperature is not in the 70's it will feel very cold when you are wet.

You will find many threads on here discussing the weather in December and with regards to the temperature the best word is changeable. One day it can be mid 70's and the next day could be 50's.

Regards

Paul

We have gone every Christmas for several years now. there are some days that the pool is great and the weather is perfect. Other days, it is too cold to enjoy. I would definitely think you would be able to enjoy the pool for at least part of your trip especially since it is heated.

We live just a little south of Orlando. December is usually fairly mild here. When we 1st moved here, our DS had his pics taken with Santa in shorts. The longer we're here the more our blood thins, but for someone who lives further north it should feel pretty nice. January & February are our colder months. Of course, not even Meteorologists can predict the weather accurately 1/2 the time. It seems to be a guessing game for all of us. :p
