I'll be flying down right after you get home!!! You'll be going about the same time I did last year. So, what I do is this...I fly out in jeans, long sleeved shirt with either my fleece pullover or my flannel lined windbreaker on. Socks with my Crocs. This way, I can change into shorts and a tee when I get to WDW, but still have some warmer clothing with me, without taking up a ton of room in my bags. I find the weather to be glorious at this time of year. The daytime can be in the low 80's/high 70's. The nighttime can get chilly, especially in Epcot around WS with the water right there. At night I like to have a long sleeved shirt on, with something heavier possibly tied around my waist. My legs don't usually get too cold, so shorts have worked. There was one night last year that I wore my jeans and was happy I did. The temps at night seem to be in the low 60's..one year I was there mid-Dec and it was in the 60's daytime and low 50's at night...that was chilly!!

Hey goofy4tink and POOHBEAR#ONE-
Sounds like you'll be there around the same time as us. We're at WDW Dec 1st-9th.

I was going to recommend the same. We went one year in Feb and it was one of the coldest, 30 degrees when we arrived, luckily still warmer than our 6 below that we left at home.
The first few days, we wore sweatshirts, long pants and wore gloves. We saw several people with shorts and guessing they did not bring anything warmer.

Been a couple times for Christmas week . First time was rainy and cold all week . Last time we went it was cool not cold had a day where we could swim . I would pack for 60's daytime and 40' 50's at night

Last year we were there Dec. 3-9 and it was pretty chilly (and rainy). However, I always wear skirts and I was fine. I would just wear a normal "summer" outfit during the day and put on a coat when I got cold. Being from the south already, the littlest bit of chill is COLD to me. I just brought one coat and one pullover. You also could pack a few long-sleeve shirts and just roll up the sleeves during the day. Also, I wore flip flops or open-toe shoes the entire time.

We are going the same time as you Nov. 29 - Dec. 6. We were there the same week on 2004 and the weather was PERFECT! I know we lucked out, but it was mid 70's everyday (one day it hit 80 and we wore shorts). It was mid 60's at night. No rain at all and sunny everyday. I wore capris and T shirts the whole time and wore a nylon pullover in the mornings and evenings. I didn't pack any coats, did pack a sweatshirt but didn't wear it. The pullover was enough. I plan on packing the same way this year.
I'm from Ohio and REFUSE to pack winter clothes to go to Florida!!! Nothing heavier than a sweatshirt for us!! We even swam one night, it was only clod when you got out of the water.

Have a great trip and maybe if we both wish REALLY hard we will get weather like we had last time!!! :cool1:

I'm glad someone asked about december weather. I am thinking about going during December in 2007. My dh wants to go when it isn't as hot as the surface of the sun.

Most of the time we have on t-shirts and shorts. Usually need a light jacket in morning and evening. Sometimes in the evening you need pants. Alot of water in many parks and it can get chilly. It has been known to rain in Dec. So make sure you have extra shoes just in case.

We were there the last few days of Nov. and the first few of Dec. in 2005 and our first few days were warm and we wore shorts and the next few days we wore jeans and short sleeve shirts and our last few days we had on jeans, short sleeve shirts and carried a jacket to use at night. It was great weather and I am hoping for close to the same this year although it is later in the month and I dont know if it will be very warm. Dec. is tricky so maybe it will still be warm

I'll be there around the same time as you! I'm from MA too. I bring a little of everything so I am comfortable. There have been times where I didn't unpack the warmer clothes and there have been times I wish I brought more. I think majority of the time it has been such enjoyable weather.
Enjoy,
Lucy

when i went in 2001 we wore shirts and tshirts every day with light weight pants at night. it was hot and sunny and beautiful. the day we left i swear it dropped 20 degrees, cold and rainy. in otherwords, december is a complete toss up

We'll be there in December too (25-30th)....I'd wait until it gets closer to look on weather.com to look up the upcoming forecast. We're from NJ so I know what many of you mean by not wanting to pack winter clothes for Florida.

However , we were in WDW this past February and we were totally unprepared. :sad2: I packed capris and short sleeved shirts, flip flops, and LUCKILY one pair of sneakers. We ended up having to buy 2 sweatshirts each, gloves, ear muffs, and a winter hat. It was so cold out...the bakery on Main Street in MK was constantly jam packed with people wanting to buy coffee and hot chocolate.

So you never know what kind of weather you're going to get. I'd be prepared for anything. We weren't and boy did we pay for it....literally! $$$
