I did a search but could find a great deal of info. Just wondering if the pools are heated at all and what the seas are like. We normally cruise between Jun-Oct but are looking at Valentines day 2003 to take our best friends with us for thier 1st Disney cruise.

HappyGilmore...
We cruised this past Feb. for Valentines Day (4 night). I do not know if the pools are heated, probably did not need to be heated because the weather was comfortably warm. Just a guess, but it seems like they could heat the pools if needed. As to the seas, mostly calm. We did have a little wave action on two evenings, but not too bad.
The water at the beaches was a little cold. It was hard to get into, but once in it was ok.

have fun

A great time to cruise - we did 2 years ago. Once out of Port Canaveral the weather was great. A little rainy and cool for the sail away. No problem with the pools - I think I read a post that said they are heated - but if not they were definitely warm enough.

The only time I noticed the water (ocean) being cool was near the end of our snorkeling excursion when I mentioned to DH I was glad it wasn't any longer as I was starting to feel it. But please remember we're from Michigan and if the lake reaches 70 degrees we consider that very warm!

Hi All - we are also cruising on Valentine's Day (will be our last night on the 7 day Eastern). Do they do anything special for Valentine's Day?

Good to hear the pools are warm enough in February, we will be 3 days on the Wonder for our Valentine anniversary. Interested to know also if they do anything special for Valentine's?

Thanks in advance for any info!

On our Valentine's Day each adult woman was presented with a long stem red rose just before dinner. Stateroom steward brought them in just before.

Its official we will be going on the 3 night Wonder. We showed our friends our cruise videos last night and told them not to make any plans for 2/13 as they are going on a Disney Cruise. It may be a little tight in our cat10 room with four adults but we won't be in the room that much anyway, we will be too busy showing them them ship

Annie,
I didn't realize we will be on board for Valentine's Day. I haven't seen many others sailing The Magic during the same week, so it didn't click until you mentioned it. The friends we are traveling with didn't mention it either. What a nice *surprise*.:)

Happy, we did 4 adults in a cat 10 a few years ago. Wasn't too bad, altho the bed was much more comfy than the bunk and the couch. Just take turns. Was nice to have the split bath. As you said, you won't be spending much time in the room. Happy sailing!
