Weather end Sept/early Oct...?

I know no-one has a crystal ball and the weather (like here) can be changeable but does anyone have any ideas what the weather may be like having been at this time themselves. I ask because are going with our two DDs (DD1 will be 3.5 yrs and DD2 almost 5 mths) and it's going to be a nightmare packing clothes for every weather eventuality! But I guess that's what we'll have to do Obviously I was going to pack waterproofs just in case anyway...

My MIL insists it will still be very warm then but I'm not sure - I thought it would just be normal temps - not too cold but not hot either - maybe a bit of rain thrown in for good measure ?

Im hoping the end of September will be good weather aswell, well warm and not rainy will do me lol.

Its like here in the Midlands.

We were at DLRP first week of October last year. It wasn't cold - we wore t-shirts and fleece jackets - and it did drizzle rain one morning for an hour or so. But on our last day, from noon onwards, it was a lovely clear sunny early Autumn day.

The trees at the lakeside will all be showing their Autumn leaves at that time - its lovely to see.

Thanks for that Elaine I think it's going to be a pack for all weathers! Just in case! Not so bad for the baby as she can be wrapped up in the pushchair but a bit different for DD1!

We arrived on Sept 16th and it was summer warm, our poor feet were hot boiling at the end of the day lol
Then the day after it changed and went freezing cold and we all regrets we had not packed heavier clothes.
Eventually it thoughts we could had missed rain and we had an heavy shower one day.

I was adviced from someone who had lived in Paris for a while to be ready for sudden changes of the weather as it is more unpredictable than other places there.
