weather end of October

1. Just wondering what people have found to be the average temp at the end of October first part of Nov. Debating about adding a water park. Is it warm enough to wear short all the time. We are coming from ontario so it's usually getting chilly by then.

We were there Oct 29 to Nov 7 in 2015, near 90 most of the time, never wore a long anything.

Highs are in the mid to upper 80's, overnight lows are in the mid to upper 60's.

Agree with PPs. We were there late Oct. 2015 and it was hot as crap. Way hotter than Late April 2015.

This is my fav time of yr to visit WDW. This past late Oct/Nov 2015 was unseasonably hot. Previous years have been a more pleasant/less humid temp but still pleasantly warm for Cdns. Normally much less rain than Sept and early Oct as nearing the end of the hurricane box. I always wear a pr of jeans down on the plane plus a fleecy jacket. But once in Orlando, shorts & capris with t-shirt is the norm. Maybe a light sweater for very early a.m. or late in the evening. Enjoy!

The last week of October is our favorite week of the year to go. Will be there again this year. Yes, it is warm enough to swim and wear shorts. Typically the only time I wear anything longer than shorts is the day that we fly home to Ohio because the temps when we land at home are much colder. Having said that, several years back the last week of October had record cold temps at WDW. I remember we had booked a photo session for our family at the Beach Club first thing in the morning and it was in the low 40's!! You can tell in some of our pictures that our noses and cheeks were red from being so cold! LOL I also remember one night we went to Mickey's Halloween Party during this same trip. Again, extremely cold below normal temps. I think every guest at that party was stopping at a gift shop to buy a coat or sweatshirt or something to wear immediately. I know we did. So more than likely you will be fine with shorts, but double check the forecast before you finish packing and make sure. I'll see you there so hopefully we'll have good weather this year!

I would plan to pack for both cool & hot temps that time of the year. Some years it might feel like the middle of summer, & some years it might be downright cold. The temperature can also vary widely throughout the day.

You could get a high temperature of 88-89 or a high temperature of 70-72,more than likely it will be near or over 80 but if a front were to come through it could knock it down to around 70 with lows in the 50's.Basically expect warm but prepare for coolish temps,cold temperatures don't really happen until later in the year.

We go in October to early November every year and in 25 years only 1 time was the temperature below the mid 70's or about 23 C and it was about 68 or 18 C. Plan on mid 70's to low 80's. When the sun goes down it can get chilly but shorts during the day should work fine and likely evening though having pants along is a good idea.

Crap shoot. This year we were melting. It's was so hot.

4 years prior in a 10 day span, we wore shorts and swam and then pants and jackets!

We've been twice the first half of November, the weather was great both times. Daytime highs 70's to 80's with little rain. One morning had a low of 55 but quickly got to 70 by late morning. We went to Typhoon Lagoon during both trips and were able to get sunny day's in the mid-80's.
