Weather Dec 17 - 23????

Help! What is the weather like in Decemeber? We will be there Dec. 17 013. Not sure if it is warm or what. Your help is needed.

We stayed the second week of dec. last year and it was very comfortable. BUT if you tend to be a warm blooded person like me than take shorts, i didn't last year and wished i had.
As for the nights they too are comfortable though you may want a light jacket if you are going to be near water. It also rained quite a bit so be sure to have a poncho and or umbrella.
Please remember though that just because it rained quite a bit last year, that doesn't mean it will this year. Weather can be so unpredictable just be prepared is all.

Pack a little of everything because you never know! When we went the week before Christmas in 2001, we wore shorts for the first half of the trip (with a light sweater for me at night) and pants the second half of the trip.

We were there last Dec. 19-23. The weather was so warm during the day (70's and 80's.) At night, it was down in the 50's. Very nice. I wore a sleevless shirt during the day, and brought along a light jacket or sweater for night in the parks.
I have heard it is hit or miss in December. It can be very cold sometimes according to some of the CM's we talked to during our Dec. trip.

We were there at that time period in 2000. The first day, it was in the eighties. By the 4th day the high was in the 40s with rain and it got down to 28 at night. I believe that was a very unusual year.

We went Dec 19 - 27 last year.. and the weather was great! We found that shorts and tshirts were fine for the daytime, but needed at least sweatshirts (and most of the time pants) for the nighttimes once the sun went down. Pack layers
