Weather/Crowds/Decorations in November

Apologies to you DIS veterans who must get sooooo tired of us all asking the same questions.... DH is coming to Anaheim for a conference Nov. 11-14. Can someone please tell me about weather and crowds at that time? Also, are Christmas decorations up by then? Trying to decide if I should come, too. Thanks!

I went just last November and I brought all winter clothes. I then had to go to Target down the street and buy some summer clothes because it was HOT! It's in my siggy when I went...11/15-11/19 I think and it was very warm. I think my kids had a light weight jacket on for the evenings. It was still crowded but not bad at all. Now I remember that the Christmas decorations were JUST put up when I went so I hope you're not going too early in November to see them. You should tag along also! I'd have a great time in Disney by myself while husband is in conference!

Are you coming for the SPE conference? Yes you should come. Christmas decs are up. Crowds are manageable and the weather is always nice! Dh is there for the SPE November 11-14 and then the kids and I are flying down on the 14th and we are staying until the 19th.

Yes, we are coming for the SPE convention. I can't take my DS16 out of school and DH will be busy most of the days, so I would be at DL ALONE! I would absolutely love that!!

Weather is hit and miss anywhere. SoCal is usually mild temperatures. I have been in December when it has been very warm and I have also been in November when it was cold and rainy.

The park will be decorated. The HM is a must see during the season decorations. Love it.

As prev poster stated, crowds should be moderate, but the closer you get to Thanksgiving it starts to get crowded.

Yes, we are coming for the SPE convention. I can't take my DS16 out of school and DH will be busy most of the days, so I would be at DL ALONE! I would absolutely love that!!

We went last year during this time and it was super super HOT like the previous poster said. You'll be coming in on Veterns day weekend which will be insane packed. Last year they stopped letting people into the parks, however if you're alone you can manage it just fine.

Hadn't thought about Veteran's Day! Does California have a state and school holiday that Monday?

It's a federal holiday so most schools and government offices observe it. It will be crowded. Beware in the afternoon, if you leave DL, and it gets too crowded, they will close the gates and you will not be allowed back in until some people have left. It happened last year!

We wore shorts during the day when we were there last year during the same time. We needed jackets in the evening however.

Christmas decorations are up, but the Christmas parade and fireworks don't start until Thanksgiving.

I'm not sure about the parade and fireworks because last year we went the same time that the OP is going this year and we got premium seating for the christmas parade during the holiday tour, and we saw the christmas fireworks. So I don't see why it would be any different this year, did they say otherwise on the disneysite?

The Christmas decorations are up during that time, but the Christmas Parade and Fireworks don't start until Friday, November 16th.

And how do I know this? Because the DL website has the November Parade, Fireworks and Entertainment hours up now!

I have also been there at the beginning of November and seen the Christmas fireworks or I should say the special surprise after the fireworks. Maybe they changed the schedule and are not going to start that until after Thanksgiving from now on.

I checked the disneyland website and they're not showing the believe fireworks or the christmas parade until November 16th weekend. So it is before thanksgiving but I think a little later than they started last year.

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately my aversion to crowds is more powerful than my attaction to DL. Looks like I may be missing this trip after all.
