Hello all,
I have never been to Disney in September, only end of May and end of October.........May was hot and to crowed and October not bad, But I hear September is pretty good.

Can some of you guy's let me know how september is, my mom who is 67 and my 80 yr old Aunt (who can run circles around all of us) and my 12 yr old son.

thanks for the help

We went toward the end of Sept. last year and loved it - except for the hurricanes! We drove through Ivan to get there, and then left the day Jeanne hit (not running away from her, that's the way we were scheduled!).
The weather was warm but not too hot, and the crowds were perfect - walked right on most rides.

But if you go in hurricane season, you take the risk of rainy, windy days at best and true disaster at worst. So it's a bit of a gamble!

Let's hope FL got their share of hurricanes in 2004 and 2005 will be better!!!

Since September is still in hurricane season, the weather is a toss up, but it is usually warm, not hot. As long as rain doesn't bother you, you will do fine. We have been there and had sunshine/warmth most of the whole time and we have been there when a hurricane was approaching the state and had the cycles of light and heavy rain that you get with a tropical storm. We just put on our ponchos and enjoyed the light crowds.
Now LAST year, September was quite a month with the hurricanes passing so close. Hopefully, that will not happen again.
Low crowds...after summer break and before the fall break in regards to school children, and Food and Wine event at Epcot doesn't begin until the end of Sept, great time to go.

thanks for the replies, will either hit Disney say end of september or early October.
Thanks

We were there Sept last year.... danced in and around the hurricanes. The weather all in all was ok...one day hot and humid then nice the next. Some days a typical FL rain shower.

Just booked for this Sept again.... the time of year for crowds is great did not wait on lines...used fast pass only a few times. Good luck. When are you going in Sept... we will be there the week of the 25th.

We went last Sept. the week of 18 -25. I thought the weater was great. It was warm but never too hot and it only rained on two days for a short amount of time. The crowds were light and we were able to see and do alot even though the parks closed a little early. I think the longest wait we had was for pooh. Should have grabbed a fast pass. We were scheduled to fly out of orlando on the 25th. The airport closed due to jeanne being on the way so we drove to Clearwater to get out. Anyway, I thought Sept. was great. This year I'm going in Oct. beacuse I want to take my son to MNSSHP.

We went the last week of Sept (delayed a day due to Hurricane Jeanne) & it was pretty darn hot EVERY day. Very humid. Bring lots of water & figure you'll have a bad hair day every day!! :)
But other then the heat (which I really don't mind) it is a perfect time to go. There were no lines!!
