Weather at HH in November?

Yesterday I was able to reschedule a trip to HH that was suppose to happen last week, but Gustav had other plans for us.

I was granted a dose of and was able to get a reservation for November 9 - 13.

So how is the weather then? We've been in October but never in November. Is swimming still an option?

The high temps will range from 60's to upper 70's. The ocean will be a little too cool to swim, but the resort pools are heated. The resort activities schedule will be in full swing. We really like the weather at this time of the year since the humidity is down and there won't be any bugs!

HHI, November 2006, literally freezing. Right after I took this picture, my batteries froze and I couldn't take any more. That's steam rising from the heated pool-

November, 2007, was nicer, in the 60s most days, like Doc said. We ate outside at the Salty Dog. I've been told that some years have been in the 80s. So I guess it's real variable. However, the crowds are non-existent so you can get into Signe's with no wait. So that makes it all worth it to me.

Simba's Mom: how did you make out with Hurricane Ike? We are way past tired of the hurricane's these past two weeks! My sister in BR is going on day 15 of no electricity. Baton Rouge is a mess, but getting better. We were only 5 1/2 days with no power. We had just purchased a generator when the electricity came back on!

We've not eaten at Signe's but I know you talk about it all the time. I think we'll give a try while we are there this time.
