I've been checking on the BBC World Weather for Paris most days for the past few weeks just comparing our weather to theirs. It has had rain every day for I don't know how long!

CAn anybody who is there or just been tell me what sort of weather they had so that I can see how accurate it is!? Just trying to plan my wardrobe as we go in less than 2 weeks

Hi

We came back last Friday (08/08) and it was raining with thunderstorms the previous day. We were there for 12 days and on the whole it was very hot and sunny with the exception of 2 days in the middle of the holiday were it was drizzling and a bit cooler.

Think you will have to pack for both outcomes!

Hope this helps, we were there from July 30th - August 8th, weather was hot for most of that time (too hot at times!) - from what I can remember we had rain (quite heavy) one evening about the time of Fantillusion, then again on the Sunday around half 6ish for an hour, two heavy thunderstorms last Thursday and that was the only time we felt we needed to buy ponchos - Friday the weather couldn't make up it's mind, one minute a little rain the next blazing sunshine!

Thank you - just so long as I know there is some sun out there somewhere!! It's certainly not in Great Yarmouth at the moment!!!

I am dreading bad weather next week. We have never been in summer before and I was really looking forward to going to the Park without jumpers, gloves and coats. I figured that we would be okay going in August. :confused3
Now it seems we will have to take raincoats with us and, if it's like it is here at the moment, jumpers to cope with the cold wind. :headache:

I hear you. We opted for the Hotel New York as we thought air con, ice machines and a pool would be key for the summer. Here's my fingers crossed that we get some summer weather for our Summer DLP holiday!!!

we were there from afternoon of fri 8th aug - morning of mon 11th aug

fri was a bit showery but warm ( rain showers didn't last long)
sat was gorgeous ,hot and sunny all day

I just came back today. I was there Tue 12 - Thur 14th. Before I went I had checked the weather on accuweather.com & it had said that the rain was arriving 10pm Wed & would rain on Thurs. Although there some threathening clouds, we saw no rain at all. Temperatures were warm prob low 20s. There were clouds about most of the time. We had packed our disney ponchos, but they weren't needed. Tuesday night is was quite chillly waiting around for the parade & fireworks, so our fleeces came in handy!

Checked the weather for this week and it looks a lot brighter! I think I'll just back for every eventuality and then we'll be covered. With everything else though I didn't want to be carrying around fleeces and raincoats unless it was necessary. I don't know what has happened to the weather :confused3

IMO you wont need fleeces as even when raining it wasn't cold

we watched the parade etc on sun night wearing short sleeves and it was fine, lovely and mild

when it did get a tad chilly / wet during our trip we just popped our rain jkts on ,and when we werent wearing them they were rolled up into a bag

if you do get cold / tired its a fab excuse for a hot chocolate break ;)

Oooh, I don't know what to do now. I really like the idea of travelling light, but on the other hand I know I will be a miserable moo if I end up getting cold.
