Anyone know what the typical weather is like right after thanksgiving? How cold is it in the day and night? What do you typically wear for both? Mainly concerned about DD3. She has nothing warm other than jeans and maybe a long sleeve tee. I know I need to go get her some things, just not sure what to start looking for.

Also, should we be prepared for rain? What do we need? Rain ponchos (buy at DL or bring from home?) stroller rain cover, anything else? Should we bring DD's rain boots?

Thanks! So excited!! DD is already packing everyday for her trip to Disneyland, she can't wait.

Honestly, there is no predictions on weather anymore... This entire summer has been pretty chilly this year, high of 70s. 2 years ago, we were hitting 104 everyday.

We are week after Thanksgiving regulars....for the past 5 years anyway. We have never had rain on a day that we were in the parks, but we have missed it by a day or two. And on a few trips there was a lot of rain on the day we were leaving (usually Friday). We try and bring rain gear with us, but have really lucked out so far.

We DEFINITELY need our sweatshirts at night. We usually do long pants/long sleeves during the day. There has been some warm days, but never hot. Except for a couple of really windy days (which means cancelled fireworks - boo!), the weather that week is usually ideal for us. Knock on wood :-)

We visited during Thanksgiving week last year (Wed. to Sat.).

One day was really warm, and many people wore shorts and short-sleeved shirts.

Another day it was really cold all day, and many people wore long pants and sweaters during the day.

At night we usually wore long pants and sweaters.

HTH :earsboy:

Check the weather and be prepared for everything. We have gone that week five out of the last seven years and the weather has been all over the place - hot, freezing, comfortable, rain. We have only had rain once, but it sucked. Bring a poncho from home - so much easier than buying it while there.

It's a great time of year to go, though!
